Rebecca Briddell MSN, MSM-HCA, PMHNP-BC

"My journey in nursing began when I graduated as a Registered Nurse from Delaware Technical Community College in 2016. I went on to earn my BSN from Wilmington University in 2018, became ANCC-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health RN in 2020, and completed both a Master of Science in Nursing (Executive Leadership) and a Master of Science in Management (Health Care Administration) in 2021. In 2024, I graduated as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Walden University.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of caring for children and teens in psychiatric inpatient settings, managing inpatient psychiatric units, contributing to clinical research on psychotropic medications, working in psychiatric residential treatment, and serving as a care coordinator for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I believe mental health should be seamlessly integrated into all aspects of healthcare. From prenatal care to pediatric and adult settings, families deserve access to evidence-based mental wellness education and resources. I am deeply passionate about driving systemic change in mental health, particularly in perinatal care, primary care, schools, and services for individuals with disabilities, ensuring that mental health is prioritized from the start and across all stages of life. Above all, my love for children drives my commitment to help create supportive environments where they can thrive."
