Colleen Altares, PNP

Colleen started her career in healthcare in 2018 as a Registered Nurse. She has loved working with children for the past eight years and had always dreamed of advancing her professional career. During her time in the hospital setting at Levine Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Nemours Children’s Hospital, she was exposed to a variety of pediatric illnesses. This experience made her realize many of these illnesses are preventable with good
primary and preventative care. Teaching and helping inform parents and children about their health and wellness is a passion of Colleen’s.

In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors, with family and friends. She also enjoys exercising, cooking, baking and traveling.

As a nurse practitioner It’s a privilege to be able to impact the lives of children and their families. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to fulfill my lifelong dream and I look forward to delivering holistic evidence-based care to the children in my community.
