Angelica Steele, RN, IBCLC

Angelica Steele is a Registered Nurse and International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant with 15 years of pediatric nursing experience and 9 years of specialized lactation experience. Her foundation in pediatrics allows her to support infant feeding within the full context of newborn health, growth, and development.
Angelica’s passion for lactation began with her own motherhood journey. After facing
breastfeeding challenges with her own children—including latch difficulties, breast refusal, and navigating postpartum depression—she felt called to learn more and support other families experiencing similar struggles. Through education, persistence, and support, she successfully breastfed each of her children to two years of age.
These personal experiences, combined with her clinical expertise, allow Angelica to connect with families in a deeply empathetic and practical way. She understands firsthand how overwhelming feeding challenges can feel and strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where parents feel heard and supported.
Angelica provides evidence-based guidance tailored to each family’s goals, whether addressing latch concerns, milk supply issues, pumping plans, supplementation, or feeding challenges related to medical or developmental needs. Her combined pediatric and lactation expertise enables her to create individualized feeding plans that prioritize both infant wellness and parental mental health. She is committed to empowering families with knowledge, encouragement, and compassionate
care as they build confidence in their feeding journey.
